The Joe Marsh Challenge

Help us honor Coach Joe Marsh by naming the Men’s Hockey Team Suite after him!

Head coach Joe Marsh guided the Skating Saints men’s hockey program for 26 seasons, building a legacy that included mentorship, friendship and championships.  Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 in Coach Marsh’s honor, so we can name the team suite after him.  An anonymous donor has offered to make a gift of $250,000 towards this effort if others commit the first $750,000.  Many Laurentians, including a number of Joe’s former players, have already responded generously, so we have over $350,000 in commitments towards this goal.

Coach Marsh is the winningest coach in Saints history, piling up 468 career wins including five ECAC championships, the 1988 NCAA title game and the 2000 Frozen Four.

For more information on naming opportunities and supporting the project, including the special fund to honor Coach Marsh, please contact Andy Whittier ’91 at awhittier@stlawu.edu or 315-229-5511.
