Laurentians Create Bonds that Lead to Advantages

Building meaningful connections that reach beyond campus is one of the premier benefits of becoming a Laurentian.  The SLU Connect and Laurentians Investing in Networking and Careers (LINC) programs help cultivate connections that influence futures.  We intend to grow and sustain them for successive generations of St. Lawrence students.

These two model programs bridge the gap between students and Laurentians with professional experience.  We are driven to establish a $4 million endowment for SLU Connect, and a $2 million endowment for LINC.

  • 20%

Priorities

  • SLU Connect - $4 million to fully endow the program; Named endowed funds starting at $100,000 each

A behind-the-scenes glimpse at how businesses, organizations and government operate in different parts of the country.  The goal is to provide funding for six SLU Connect programs each year including student financial assistance, transportation, hotel and meeting space, a networking reception, cultural experiences, and a student intern.

  • Laurentians Investing in Networking and Careers (LINC) - $2 million to fully endow the program; Named endowed funds starting at $100,000 each

The program is designed to match sophomore students with an alumnus/a or parent who serves as a professional mentor, with the goal of developing the student’s networking and industry skills.
