Residential Living Spaces

A Modernized Home Away From Home

Beyond academics, living and learning spaces are two of the most important facets of shaping the St. Lawrence experience. It is essential for today’s students to have living environments that are both safe and comfortable, and are an exciting extension of their decision to attend St. Lawrence.

The recent addition of Kirk Douglas Hall, a $14 million facility that opened in 2014, features energy-efficient geothermal heating and cooling.  Named in honor of Kirk Douglas ’39, the first residence hall to be built on campus in over 45 years provides state-of-the-art housing to over 150 students while framing the renovated the Richard F. Brush ’52 University Quad.  Supporting modernized residence halls and theme cottages will give St. Lawrence a competitive advantage in recruiting while providing impressive, secure living spaces to current students.
